YANLA TRIP
8th Oct I reached YANLA . the almost Tamang area of sindhupalchowk district of nepal . youth group of Jalbire area has formed a high level mechanism of youth clubs.this mechanism invited me to inaugurate volleyball competition .
in this trip I was accompanied by Mr Nima sherpa (candidate of ca member for last election),Jung bahadur tamang(president of sindhupalchowk nc 2),Bil bahadur tamang(former president of sindhu nsu and convention represantative of nc sindhu ), sri lama (convention representative of nc sindhu),sanu kanchcha lama(nc member of sindhu 2),sudev pandit (ex president of nc dhapashi n president of itf ktm),shankerdev shrestha (secretary of itf ktm), gopi tamang (dc member of sindhu nc), kailash thapa (secretary of sindhu nc 2), bhimsen (treasurer of sindhu nc 2), phurba tamang , sancha bahadur tamang (president of hagam nc unit) n frens .
HIGH LEVEL MECHANISM
During welcome speech ,secretary of mechanism Mr Shuklal tamang made brief on mechanism. ''youth from different club gathered n formed it to develop living standard of people from Jalbire area . our mechanism will deal on road ,education ,irrigation .some elites have shown disagreements on it because of their petty interest . due to unity among youth will prevent from misuse of youth power.but we have committed on unity for our society. ''
I thanked mechanism . and appreciate their collective efforts for their society's development.'' we different organisations had moved jointly for democracy against tyranny monarchy. our collective effort was for new Nepal. every people will feel direct ownership on policy making through inclusive democracy . will build prosperous Nepal n people get rid of from scarcity. our creative mind will consume for development after Establishment of democratic system, ending violence. mean time , seven political parties and Maoist reached in an peace agreement. Maoists were looking for to give up violence . they made commitment on democracy n peaceful manner.but they didn't apply it.after election of constituent assembly Maoists are saying they wouldn't accept pluralism.
what we had the dream of new democratic Nepal will be materialised through institutionalised democracy. democracy will institutionalised if we drafted democratic Constitution .due to denial of pluralism by maoists, Constitution draft process is going to be paralysed. as a leader of movement i urge you who have made this mechanism ,should make pressure on party leaders who arrives your area. I will inform your collective efforts to other frens . I am so impressed from your effort.in the last I would like to warn those forces who are showing reluctancy to apply past agreements n showing dishonesty on democratic norms and would like say to remember tyranny monarchy's position by people's movement same will happen on those who intends to seize individual liberty , who stands being barrier of democratic constitution.
thanks for inspiring me the mechanism .''
after the programme I got knowledge that youth active to establish mechanism were involved in ycl but now they abandoned it and active for civilised society.

mahendra in politics
Student movement resulted referendum In 1980 .During this period we used to listen bbc radio altogether my family in which political developments were main concerns .At school some senior student leaders used to arrive and gathered to us and used to chanting slogan in favour of multiparty system. after school time (morning due to hot ) we used to arrive at home n had launch then used to gathered peer group n rally with slogan beside the village . refrendum between multyparty system and party less panchayat system .blue colour represented multyparty system and yellow ..panchayt system.we peer group group used to coloured our hanky blue , placed blue flag on top of roof. n elites used to complain it to my parent. but my family environment was BLUE coloured i.e. democracy. BBC was the teacher indeed .
after refrendum
my uncle's staying in BANARAS aquqinted me with name of BP KOIRALA .when i used to go to my maternal uncle's home read TARUN etc magazines .it aquainted with BP and his NATIONAL UNITY and RECONCILIATION POLICY . it made to be aquainted with the name of KISHUN JI, GIRIJA BABU and BIR GANESHMAN etc.
about martyr's
from the magazine and chat with uncles i heard about RAM ,LAXMAN ,KAMESHOR ,KUSHESHOR,LILA ,THAGI the great martyrs this used to energised me .
Bp's opinion on marzinalised people impressed me i.e. his dream .'' that will be the absolute democracy when a farmers face will smile by satisfaction who's face is deem ,worried due to scarcity '' .it learned from magazine published from exile (BANARASH). These type of opinion made more loyal to BP.
'' Collective efforts by people to solve their nation's problem is the nationalism '' really impressed me .and not geography but COLLECTIVE SPIRIT in which people's collective efforts for
nation's problem solving Comprises is real nationality ' it was bp's stance on nationality .
these things really rooted on my mind.
